Becky and Alex got married at the gorgeous Stone Barn, Cotswolds, back in September. It was a wonderful day on what was possibly the sunniest September wedding we have ever experienced!

Getting ready

Both Becky and Alex got ready at the same accommodation just up the road from the venue. Not only is it a stunning setting, it’s also the perfect setup as there are separate wings to the property meaning there was little chance of them bumping into each other. There were giggles aplenty with the girls - lots of champagne bottles popping! In between some bow tie tying, Alex shared a beer (or two!) with the boys before heading off to the ceremony.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place in main barn at Stone Barn. The ceremony room was filled with candles and flowers, which was perfect for the surroundings. It was a romantic ceremony with lovely readings from those close to Becky and Alex. It was such a pleasure to witness and document.

After The ceremony

Straight after the ceremony we headed out towards the entrance of the barn where we set up the confetti. It’s the perfect place for the confetti throw as it is long walkway making it easy to set up an intimate tunnel for the guests to launch the confetti at their target! It also has fairy lights sweeping the ceiling helping us create some beautiful bokeh - Who doesn’t LOVE bokeh?! We then headed outside to the sun soaked lawns to capture the guest enjoying their canapes and champers.

The party

After a set of lovely heartfelt speeches the cake was cut, and then it was then time to hit the dancefloor! Becky and Alex had a really fun and energetic first dance floor and you could tell they loved every moment - maybe not so much so for Alex!

The evening ended with an epic wedding party! The whole wedding day was so much fun, from the beautiful vows to the sparkler finish. One of the most memorable moments of the wedding was definitely Beckys walk down the aisle, she greeted Alex with the biggest grin! Becky has the most gorgeous infectious smile and felt this moment helped the nerves of her handsome groom in waiting!
