About me

I’m an experienced wedding photographer and videographer based in Berkshire. I work solo mostly, and I’m all about keeping things relaxed while capturing the real, unfiltered moments that make your day totally you.

I’ve been lucky enough to shoot weddings all across the UK and internationally - telling love stories through both photos and films. Whether it’s the quiet, blink and you’ll miss it glances or the big belly laughs, I love documenting the stuff that makes each wedding one of a kind. Over the years, my work has been featured in places like Rock My Wedding, Perfect Wedding magazine, and even UK Vogue (yep, that one still gives me goosebumps). I’ve also been honoured as a regional finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards for Best Wedding Photographer previously two years running - something I’m super proud of.

If you’re after natural, creative photography or a relaxed wedding film (or both!) - I’d love to hear from you. Let’s keep it chill, have a laugh, and make some magic together.

A little more about me

Photography has always been the dream job for me. You’ll usually find me with a camera in hand, chasing great light and capturing moments that matter. I studied design at university, so I’ve got a sharp eye for detail and a real love for printed photos - there’s just something special about seeing an image come to life on paper. What I love most is being there for the whole journey, from the excitement of your engagement to the joy of your wedding day and beyond. I’m all about catching those real, honest emotions and the little in-between moments that make your day yours.

My loves

My wife and our boy!

A few things I can’t get enough of: Coffee with a jam doughnut or 2 and travelling with my beloved Leica M6. Music-wise, I’ve got a soft spot for the late 90’s/early 2000s - everything from dance and trance to pop punk and hip hop. Oh and don’t even get me started on New York City - I’m already dreaming up our next trip with my wife Sonia, this time bringing our son along for his very first visit

AND FINALLY

RS Brown Photography started as a husband and wife team back in 2013. Sonia was my partner in both life and business for a long time, so her influence is baked into a lot of what you’ll still see on this site - you might spot her name sprinkled around the place! From the way we approached storytelling to the style we developed together, Sonia played a big role in shaping the heart of this business. While she’s no longer involved, her creative energy and the memories we built working side by side are still a meaningful part of what RS Brown Photography is all about today.
