Sonia and I decided to take part in this year’s Rock Your Shot hosted by the insanely talented S6 Photography - Jon Dennis. We have followed Jon’s work over the last few years since setting up as a photography business ourselves and have always admired his bold style and ambitious shoot locations, often within the depths of the powerfully beautiful Peak District.
The workshop appealed to us for that very reason, to have the opportunity to conduct a shoot in a setting as ideal as the Peaks and enhance our own style and knowledge. Both of us being a keen advocate of forever improving and learning. We rocked up at 11.00am to a secret location, a farm located in the idyllic countryside to meet other like minded photographers, all enthused and excited for the workshop ahead. We did a short shoot in the morning in which Sonia and I became the models - being in front of the camera rather than behind is always a bit odd but great fun!
