Winter Wedding Photography

We had the most beautiful day with Lauren and Marc at the wonderful Millbridge Court back in November last year. It was a wedding full of the most intricate details (You can't beat custom made top trumps cards to make play on being the Trumpers!) that was put together using the best suppliers around! "When we pictured a winter wedding we wanted bright blue skies, autumn leaves all around, guests glammed up in evening wear and lots of romantic candle light for inside, but as we live in the UK we didn't think we would manage to tick all those boxes so chose a venue which was gorgeous both inside and out. However, we got lucky on the day and the sun shone down on us!"

"The ceremony room at Millbridge court was flooded with winter sun and we got some beautiful pictures outside and down by the arbor, and the day was just as we had pictured it! The sunset we had was beautiful as the men did their speeches and when I looked around the dance floor in the evening and saw all our friends and families looking amazing in their tuxedos and evening dresses I felt so overwhelmed at what a perfect day we'd had"

"We planned a fairly small wedding (by today's standard any way) and had 90 guests. Between us we have 7 nieces and nephews and we wanted them all involved but knew we had to keep them entertained too so hired in Event Childcare to look after them throughout the day. This meant the parents could relax and have fun too! We knew we wanted to get married in Millbridge Court from the moment we first visited it. It ticked all the boxes and the fact they work with Kalm Kitchen sealed the deal! The staff were amazing from start to finish too and the whole day ran exactly as planned. We didn’t really have a theme for the day but 'modern, black tie, winter, romantic' were the words we used when we spoke to suppliers like our florist Hannah Berry who just got what we wanted straight away"

"For the food we had a hard time choosing the canapés as Kalm's selection was so amazing but for the wedding breakfast we wanted to add in a bit of my Italian heritage so the starter was 'Nonna's Ravioli', followed by a more traditional chicken dish and we had Kalm's amazing patisserie bar for dessert! In the evening, the 'cake' was a donut wall and we had mini fish and chips and welsh rarebit to keep the hunger pangs away."

"Sonia and Hannah arrived in the morning while the girls were getting ready and spent lots of time capturing all the details of my dress and accessories and we got some lovely shots of these items around the venue. Rich met Marc and the boys and headed to the pub where he captured some great shots of the men all dressed up in their tux's! I barely noticed the girls when I was getting ready, and they remained incognito all day. The moment my dad saw me for the first time was a little rushed in the end and I was worried we didn't get a photo of it because I didn't even notice them slip in behind me and capture the exact moment my dad saw me. It was amazing to get that picture as I really thought we'd missed it. This just shows their experience and knowing when the good shots are coming and getting in the right position.

Rich, Sonia and Hannah were all really lovely to deal with and put Marc and I instantly at ease. When it came to the couple shots we didn't think we were very photogenic but within seconds we both felt relaxed and the results were fantastic. Every detail is captured and we have too many beautiful shots to choose from!"
