Marlow Wedding Photography | Emma + John

Emma and John contacted us about shooting their wedding after they saw the photos from their friends wedding last year that we shot at nearby Old Luxters Barn.

They celebrated their wedding in a lovely Marquee in the quint Hambleden Village, but not before they tied the knot with a ceremony full of song just up the road at the beautiful All Saints Church, Marlow.

The weather was mixed to say the least – Sunny, rainy, windy with some the craziest skies we have ever seen! But none of that mattered. Emma and John had worked so hard to make their wedding day so inviting and fun!

We have been fortunate to experience a Ceilidh before and once again it was brilliant - being in the middle of all the action with cameras in hand is a joy! Everyone took part and gave it their all. The routines seemed really complex (to us anyway!) when the Caller was talking through the steps but somehow, after a minute or so, everything just worked! There were absolutely no strange shuffling dance moves or confused faces. We are still not quite sure how they kept their energy levels up – the sugar rush from the afternoon tea must have helped things considerably!

The day ended with a lovely fireworks display on the green which we felt was a fitting end to a wonderful wedding!

All the best for the future E+J!
